After She Became A Lady by Wareeze Woodson Genre: Historical Romantic Suspense

Laurel Collingsworth, seventeen and deeply in love, expects to marry her
hero and live in wedded bliss forever after. Instead, with the ink
barely dry on the marriage lines, Lord Robert Laningham is called
away to Spain and the war. With a heavy heart, she sends her husband
off with a kiss and a prayer for his safe return.
Now alone in her new role of Lady Laningham, she faces a series of
terrifying events, shadowy intruders, missing jewelry, and mysterious
footfalls in the night. Added to her alarms, she must fight her
hostile sister-in-law for the reins of her husband’s establishment.
When Lord Robert Laningham returns, can she convince him danger stalks the
halls of the ancient mansion? In his wounded state, will he listen,
or must she protect her child, her recovering husband, and her
household by herself?
I write historical romance fiction novels set in the 1800s forward with
a twist of suspense. All of my characters and stories that are
portrayed in my books are fictitious. I am a native of Texas, but I
have traveled through out America and beyond. As a dreamer, I love to
visit new places where I can imagine a heroine meeting a hero in a
special way. I’m an avid reader of (all sorts) and I love to write.
I married my high school sweat-heart and after having raised three sons
plus one daughter, our love for each other remains unshaken. Now we
enjoy our eight grandchildren. We can send them home, but we’re
always happy for their return.
Outside of my family activities, I sing with the Silver Belles at my church
and hate to miss even one practice. The local chapter of RWA is also
at the top of my list of pleasures. It keeps me grounded with craft
and connected with other writers.
Most of all, I enjoy going fishing with my husband. Give me a pole and
leave me alone to bask in the sun, listening to water gurgle along
the riverbanks while allowing my mind to float away to some distance
place. Ah! Perfect.

ANIMAL KINGDOMS Series by Oliver Paglia

The Merewyrm’s Tooth
Animal Kingdoms Book 1
by Oliver Paglia
Genre: Epic Fantasy
Faharen was a contented enough young lad, living a simple farming life with
his adopted kin the Manxii, on the North Western Plain of the Animal Kingdoms.
After a mysterious blight begins to ravage the pastures of his homeland, he
must embark on a perilous quest only he can complete; to cross the
Great Forest, entering the Realms of Men to retrieve a piece of ivory
with healing properties from a legendary monster, the Merewyrm; a
creature so ancient it predates both man and animal kind.
Not long into his journey, it dawns on Faharen that he is part of a much
larger, darker world than he thought existed and must mine hidden
depths he wasn’t aware he possessed to survive.
Created by the gods to divide fallen men from the faithful animals and
forsaken by them long ago, traversing the Great Forest will not be
easy, for it hides many malevolent creatures such as the Satyrs to
name but one; a half man, half cloven hooved beast that knows only
spite and treachery!
With the body of a man and the heart of a Manxii, Faharen must do what is
deemed impossible; cross the worlds to save his people.
Gauntlet of Wrath
Animal Kingdoms Book 2
Residing in a monastery far to the east of the North Western Plain, troubling
nightmares stalk Faharen’s sleep as he seeks inner peace and
answers to profound questions, stirred up by his quest for the
Merewyrm’s tooth.
But in the Realms of Men, all is not well.
Out of the deserts to the south, like a sandstorm on an
ill wind, a force of occultists, led by an armoured giant calling
himself the Ferra Demiurge, or Forged Lord, wielding the strongest
ever blades made of a mysterious metal, have taken the Achaean lands
by coup and sorcery. Their ambition and greed is insatiable and the
Demiurge will not be satisfied until the entire known world is his,
including what lies beyond the Great Forest.
With the worlds
of the Animal Kingdoms and men alike set in flux by recent events,
the ancient prophecy of the wild men seems to be unravelling.
Now, all those standing against the Achaeans will be tested in their
defence of the sacred. Some will conquer, some will die, but all will
struggle to survive.
Oliver Paglia is a writer/filmmaker and was born and bred in Hampshire,
south England, where he grew up on a small farm in the picturesque
Test valley countryside. He now lives in Reykjavik, Iceland with his
veterinary nurse partner, Snæfriður Stefanssdottír. For many years
Oliver has worked as a videographer in England and has a substantial
portfolio of commercial and artistic film work spanning a broad
variety of subjects.
Oliver’s artistic preoccupation is with the mythic; it is his view that it is
one of the highest forms of artistic expression. It can be vague, yet
illuminating, without a contemporary context yet insightful as to the
human condition, absurd yet wise and dark yet moral. The legends of
old are the stories that resonate with us on all levels.
As the late Professor Joseph Campbell put it, “The myth is the public
domain and the dream is the private myth. If your private myth, your
dream, happens to coincide with that of the society, you are in good
accord with your group. If it isn’t, you’ve got a long adventure
in the dark forest ahead of you.” Also, “Myth must be kept alive.
The people who can keep it alive are the artists of one kind or another.”
And that is what Oliver hopes to do, to keep myth alive in his own modest way.

The Siblings O’Rifcan Series Books 1- 5 Boxed Set by Katharine E. Hamilton

The Siblings O’Rifcan Series
Books 1- 5 Boxed Set
by Katharine E. Hamilton
Genre: Clean Contemporary Romance
FIVE sweet romances in ONE boxset!
One family. Five incredible stories.
Claron
Tossing her belongings into a suitcase and escaping heartbreak seemed like
the best idea for Rhea Conners. She’d simply travel across the
ocean to visit her grandfather in Ireland and heal. Then she’d come
back. Simple. But what she doesn’t expect is to find solace and
healing in the form of the O’Rifcan family. One member in
particular: Claron.
Claron enjoyed his life farming the land his grandparents gifted him. He
lived his life quietly and contentedly, until Rhea arrived. He’d
steered clear of relationships and entanglements since his last
heartbreak, but something about Roland’s granddaughter twists him
up inside. Something about Rhea has him rethinking his life of
solitude.
Two hearts. One chance. Can Rhea and Claron overcome past hurts to make a
new beginning?

Riley
Charm, beauty, and the promise of a new adventure had Heidi Rustler eagerly
flying across the ocean to visit her best friend, Rhea Conners. Heidi
needed a change of scenery, a change of pace, and a little
excitement, and that is the promise that awaited her in Ireland.
However, Rhea’s stories of the incredible family she’d come to
know intrigued Heidi the most. Particularly the stories of Riley O’Rifcan.
Riley loved his life. He spent his days traveling for work, loving on his
family, and flirting with feminine faces. He never once thought about
settling down. Until Heidi. The bold and beautiful woman from Texas
stampeded into his world and challenged his commitment-free and
easy-going lifestyle.
Two hearts. One chance. Can Heidi and Riley recognize their opportunity
for a new and different kind of adventure?
Layla
Beautiful, flirtatious, and charming are just a few of the words that describe
Layla O’Rifcan, and she is proud of them. She enjoys the art of
flirting and entangling the hearts of handsome men with her own. But
with her eyes set upon starting her new business, she might just miss
the one man that could change her life for the better.
Delaney Hawkins loves his job. Yes, he may work too much, but he is happy
with the direction his life is headed. All until he meets Layla
O’Rifcan. The spunky O’Rifcan sister who bewitches him from the
start has him trying to balance work with what he hopes to be a
budding relationship.
Two hearts. One chance. Can Layla and Delaney set aside their work and
ambition to take a chance on love?
Chloe
Strong, sweet, and beautiful not only describes Chloe O’Rifcan but also the
flowers she works with. As her brother’s wedding approaches, Chloe
finds herself neck deep in wedding planning and projects that require
the help of a dear friend.
Conor McCarthy is one of the closest friends to the O’Rifcan family, but
he’s also a talented carpenter hopping from one project to the
next. But when Chloe asks him to build an archway for a wedding prop,
Conor finds himself working hand in hand with the youngest sister,
and he can’t help but be impressed by Chloe’s skill and her sweet heart.
Two Hearts. One Chance. Can Chloe and Conor progress from family friends
to more?

Murphy
Grit, determination, and independence had Piper O’Beirne setting her
roots in Galway. The successful manager of one of the hottest pubs in
the city, she never dreamed of moving or starting over. Until Murphy.
Murphy O’Rifcan loved his work. He spent all his time grooming his pub to
be the best in County Clare. However, the hectic demands of the pub
had him looking for help from the one person he knew he could trust,
but the one person he knew did not want to move to Castlebrook. He
found his professional pursuit of Piper twisted along the way and he
wished Piper would accept the job for other reasons. Him.
Two Hearts. One Chance. Can Piper and Murphy learn to work together at
the pub and in love?

Gardenia Duty by Kathleen Varn Genre: Women’s Historical Fiction

Gardenia Duty
by Kathleen Varn
Genre: Women’s Historical Fiction
In 1957 jobs are scarce in rural Ashland, Alabama. Bobby Higgins is
facing life decisions; his family’s farm struggles and threat of
the draft hangs over 18-year-old males as the Cold War rumbles in the
distance. Bobby heads off to boot camp, vowing to provide for his
family from his pay. Between shore and sea duty, Bobby leaves broken
hearts in every port. When his own heart is stolen by Rose, he’s
shocked to learn that she comes with four daughters, a package deal
he’s unsure he wants. But when Rose disappears, Bobby finds her and
persuades her to marry him. Somehow they navigate their way through
the trials of marriage and parenting as he fulfills his patriotic
career and his promise to raise four willful daughters. In the spring
of 2004, his daughters are brought together by grief. They forge new
bonds, sharing their joys, losses, regrets, and ultimately family
secrets that will seal all their fates…if they can summon the
courage to report for duty.
Kat Varn’s love affair with words manifested when she turned four and taught herself
to read. As she grew older, books and reading were an escape from
responsibility. As the oldest daughter in a transient Navy
family, words fed her imagination to embrace adventure and magical
worlds. Kat was drawn to the strength of little girls in
The
Little Princess
and The Secret Garden.
Eventually, Kat dove into journaling between the pages of beautiful leather
notebooks, recording her children’s infant landmarks. Journaling
also helped her find solace in the grief of a toxic relationship.
Throughout her journey to extract her family from oppression, she
explored the idea of freedom through allegorical short stories. In
the midst of angst and soul searching, she retained a sense of humor
that gave her the resilience to pursue the search for her true self.
Kat hopes her readers enjoy Ameera’s journey to pursue the forbidden
zone of dance while becoming part of a larger experience—embraced
and bonded to eight glittery belly dancers. Each of them aware they
may have never met without the common denominator of a six-week belly
dance class under the tutelage of their troupe director.
Kat is now very happily married to her soulmate. She resides in
Charleston, South Carolina, where she worked for an adoption attorney
for twenty-three years. With her two children settled in adulthood,
she is exploring a beautiful world, from scuba diving in Fiji or
photographing from Alaska’s frozen tundra.

The Beautiful Ones
The Beautiful Ones Trilogy Book 1
by Kody Boye

My mother once said
that only the Beautiful Ones survive. This is because, in the
war-torn Great South, beauty is a currency, and to have it means you
will never have to worry about a thing.
The only problem
is: beauty is judged by our capital’s Gentlewomen, and there is no
guarantee that we will past their test.
Every year, the
Gentlewomen of the capital leave the Glittering City to oversee the
annual Procession. They travel settlement to settlement selecting
girls, aged sixteen and older, to become Beautiful Ones. If chosen,
we will be lifted into a life of luxury, but the cost is our free will.

The War Outside
The Beautiful Ones Trilogy Book 2
I have accomplished the goal of my lifetime.
I have become a Beautiful One.
But it is not at all what I expected. Between the glitz,
the glam, the fame, fortune, and my recent wedding, it’s almost
impossible to believe that a civil war rages beyond the capitol
city’s walls, and that my life was nearly taken because of it. This
is why, the day after the attempt on my life, I choose to designate
my Purpose to the great war.
There’s no guarantee that my
words will change anything. But as my presence within the Glittering
City grows, it becomes quickly apparent that I am in danger… and
that no one, not even my government, can save me.
Born and raised in Southeastern Idaho, Kody Boye began his writing career
with the publication of his story [A] Prom Queen’s Revenge at the
age of fourteen. Published nearly three-dozen times before going
independent at eighteen, Boye has authored numerous works—including
the short story collection Amorous Things, the novella The Diary of
Dakota Hammell, the zombie novel Sunrise and the epic fantasy series

Anomaly by Derra Nicole Sabo Genre: Biography

It’s 3am…While most minds are in a blissful state of slumber, mine is
wide awake conjuring and pondering endless thoughts. Eyes are fixated
on the dark popcorn ceiling above and ears are soaking in blue tunes
as my autopilot mind becomes overwhelmed with the past, future and
every cherry topped dream in between.
These thoughts range from warm and fuzzy to dark and slightly crippling.
Sometimes I wish that my mind had an off switch so that I could power
down at night. No such luck. So, wakie wakie! Grab yourself a coffee
and a snack because it’s 3am and I have so many thoughts to share
with you.
As someone with anxiety, writing is my way of speaking. When my verbal
skills fail, my pen excels. I have always had something to say to the
world and to the humans residing in it, I just could never get my
mind and mouth to be on the same level. So, I picked up a pen and
haven’t looked back. I have a message for you. A message for my
family, my friends and to all the beating hearts. Dear You is a
letter personally written, from me to you.
