Review | I received an e-copy as an exchange for an honest review. The book is a culinary and cultural experience in one. I have never visited Romania, but this book takes the reader through Romania, through its food, folklore, history, and geography. It feels like an escape to another place and sometimes another time. Filled with over 80 recipes, well presented with lovely images and illustrations. Varied ingredients, uses many fresh ones that merit visits to greengrocer markets. It promises Romanian plates loaded to the brim with vegetables and lean proteins, never lacking in flavor. A fabulous gift for people who collect cookbooks. It made me want to visit Romania. I love the title! So clever from Dill to Dracula. |
