Narcissus is a beautiful youth in Greek mythology who pines away for love of his own reflection and is then turned into the narcissus flower . From which we all get narcissism and our tendencies to be most vain!  I believe we all have it maybe not about our looks, but surely everyone has that one thing… cooking? Writing? Athletic Prowess…something that makes us feel so special we may well call it vanity.
